ABOUT ROUNDAY UKULELE GROUP
Established in 2013 in a kitchen in Roundhay, Roundhay Ukulele Groups has grown into an energetic and fun play along session suitable for newer players and those with more experience… all are welcome! The sessions are led by us (Richard and Jen) and we teach techniques, tab and new chords as we go along, although a knowledge and ability to play open chords (C, D, E7, F, G, A and Dm, Em, Am etc) is assumed.
IN SESSION: Wednesday 7.30pm-9:00pm at Lidgett Park Methodist Church and on Zoom
We run our sessions in 4-6 week blocks with gaps in between. Here is our 2026 calendar, showing you when we are running sessions. You can download the PDF and save it!
Sessions are £7.20-£8.20 per session depending on whether you pay as you go or buy a pass for a block. If you’d like to try before you buy… your first session is free! Email jennifer@woolpackstudios.co.uk to arrange.
The group enjoys learning a whole variety of songs from I Want To Break Free to The Walk Of Life. There are so many songs we love to play.
