BEGINNERS PLUS UKULELE – 10am-11am – £50 for 5 x 1hr classes

Do you know how to play some chords for example C, C7, Dm, F, G, G7, Am but perhaps lack confidence or have had some time away from playing ukulele? Would you like to develop your skills and build your confidence learning songs on the ukulele in a small group setting? Beginner Plus is perfect for you if so!

Jen teaches Ukulele Beginners Plus and has over 13 years experience teaching ukulele. The group has a lot of fun on Saturday mornings, and with a fortnight to practice in between sessions and access to the recorded class online, you’ll be seeing and hearing changes in your playing for sure. There is an option to attend in person or via Zoom wherever you are… and if you can’t make the session as it’s happening, you’ll receive a link to the recorded class soon after it’s finished. Songbook included in the price.

UKULELE FOR IMPROVERS – 11:30am-12:30pm – £50 for 5 x 1hr classes

Ready to take your playing to the next level and learn fun songs that feature more frequent chord changes and some moveable chords like Bb and Bm? Improvers is a fun small group lesson where we play songs designed to up our skill levels and confidence on the ukulele. As well as chords we’ll look at tab and melody playing too. This course is perfect for those who feel confident in changing between open chords (C, C7, Dm, D7, E7, Em, F, G, G7, A, A7, Am) and are looking for a challenge!

SONG WRITING SATURDAY SESSIONS with Richard 10:30am-12:30pm

Song Writers end of course showcase March 2024

Designed as a rolling programme of sessions, these sessions will be suitable for all levels of experience.
Perhaps you’ve always fancied writing a song but don’t quite know how?
Perhaps you’ve done some writing already but want to learn more or try out ideas with or collaborate with others?
Perhaps you’re a singer or instrumentalist with ideas but need others to work with?

All in the supportive and superbly resourced environment of our studios- with breakout spaces and lots of instrumental and recording resources should those prove relevant!

Led by Richard Sabey, an experienced multi-skilled musician, composer and producer.

This is an in person class only. Across the five classes, which are two hours each, you will get individual feedback, suggestions and tips on your creations. The course is £75 and includes resources.

Please note this course is up one flight of stairs.
