Are you looking for a fun and informal choir that sing songs from 1950s to the present day? Have you ever wanted to gain confidence with your singing and learn how to sing in harmony? Then The Woolpack Studios Choir is for you!
No experience needed – just a love of good music and enthusiasm! We sing interesting and soulful versions of popular songs from the world of rock, pop and soul.
Artists whose songs we have covered in the past include: Nina Simone; Ultravox; Carole King; Lenny Kravitz; Erasure; The Beatles; Foo Fighters; Beach Boys; Erma Franklin; Primal Scream; Elbow; Stray Cats; Michael Jackson; Yazoo; Joe Cocker; Joni Mitchell and many more!
The choir is led by us, Richard and Jen, and we write the arrangements ourselves… have a listen below! Between us we have many years of experience in leading community music workshops, writing, arranging and performing music. We believe that music is for everyone to enjoy and that singing is excellent for the soul.
